What is chain of custody certification?
Chain of custody certification proves that the wood and paper products originate from certified and inspected sources and ensures the traceability of the entire process from the forest to the end consumer.
What is FSC and PEFC certification?
FSC and PEFC certification ensures that wood and paper products come from forests that have been managed in an environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically sustainable way. They give consumers and businesses confidence that they are buying sustainably sourced goods.
More than ever before, suppliers want to be sure that the wood and paper product used by them do not damage the environment or human health and are compliant with globally acknowledged social, economic, and environmental standards. If you are involved in the field of paper or wood products and wish to show to your clients and other stakeholders that the material used by you is traceable, verifiable, and originates form sustainably managed sources, your need an FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) chain of custody certificate.
Any organisation which manufactures, processes, or distributes certified forest or wood based products and wish to use certified claims, related logos, or other trademarks in connection with those products can apply for a chain of custody certificate.
To obtain an FSC certificate you need supply chain procedures, trained staff, material purchase documents.

Certification process

Inquiry
If you would like us to send you a quotation or further information, please send us the inquiry below. We will hear your ideas and wishes and introduce you the various options available.

Application and quotation
We will determine the field of your certification and draw up a quotation based on this.

Agreement
If you accept the quotation, we will send you the certification agreement for reading and signing. After signing the agreement, we can launch the certification process.

Audit
One of our auditors will perform the initial certification audit which will include assessment of your documentation, visits to your units, etc. pursuant to the standards of chain of custody.

The certificate
Once you have successfully passed the certification process, a respective certificate will be issued to you to prove this. ou will also be entitled to use the FSC® and/or PEFC™ trademarks.
